Quick Feet 4 - Oakville Defazio 2
This game turned out to be a very important game for both teams. A win for Defazio and they would advance or a win or tie for Quick Feet and they would advance. Defazio started the game on fire and were attacking the Quick Feet team as if their hockey life depended on them winning, and it did.

Defazio was first to strike and find the twine for a 1-0 lead. This was all the Quick Feet team needed to get going as they are more comfortable in this position. Quick Feet turned up the heat of their own with a goal by Mark Aljoe into the top corner from the front of the net, assisted by Nathan Ahrens.

Defazio would again take the lead and make it 2-1 and Quick Feet knew they had them were they wanted them. The set up for the come back was set. Mark Aljoe would again find the back of the net on a break away set up by Nathan Ahrens and Brenden Hinds to tie the game at 2's.

Then next goal was a pass out from the corner from Mark Aljoe and Nathan Ahrens took a one time shot on net that was defected passed the very confused Oakville goalie by Brenden Hinds for his first of the game. Defazio didn't give up however and kept on pressuring the Quick Feet defense who were cool as ice and did their job keeping the puck away from the net and getting the puck up to the forwards.

With Quick Feet being up 3-2 and a penality being called against them. It was going to make for a very interesting and exciting finish to the game, especially with Defazio pulling the goalie for a 6 on 4 adavantage. The fans were on the edge of their seats and the stage was set with the face off in the Quick Feet zone. Quick Feet was able to stay off the rush from Oakville and then Mark Aljoe was able to get a shot on the open net from 146 ft for his hat trick and the 4-2 win.
