Minor Atom, 2010 (Quick Feet Hockey)

    With a win in a rematch again the Quebec Vikings The minor Atom Quick Feet would go to the consolation final game. The boys knew what had to be done. A unfortunate slashing penalty 1:21 into the game but a scare into the crowd as on that penalty the boys gave up a power play goal. The atoms had bin in this position before

 Game 3 came early saturday 8:50 to be exact. This time the boys came out flat against a hungry Kingston team and where down by a goal early in the first. After a bit of penalty trouble the boys managed to keep the score close, but the damage was done. Even after a borage of chances the boys couldn't find the back of the net. Maybe a little less time in a pool and a curfew would have helped but no use crying over spilt milk.

 Well the boys started off the tournament against the Richmond Hill Rams. Our Boys opened the scoring with a goal in the first by Justin "Phil Kessel" Marlowe with an assists going to Parker "Gibby" Gibbings and Nole "Blackie" Black. The rams battle back tieing it up in the second and scoring the game winner in the third Aiden "Squishy" Quish took the loss in a hard fought and well played game.

An update from the weekend will be coming soon I've just bin having a crazy 2 days at work and haven't had the time.

Well with one week till the first tournament of the season the coaching staff has recieved a couple emails about what the players can work on to benefit the team. First thing you can always work on your shot shooting 75 shots a night, 25 slap shots, 25 wrist shots and 25 snap shots. Finding a weighted puck helps too. second thing find a set of stairs and run up them then walk back down 20 times. Making sure you push with your thighs as you go up the stairs. thats all for now see everyone at practice tomorrow at 2:00
