Rematch Gives great result
With a win in a rematch again the Quebec Vikings The minor Atom Quick Feet would go to the consolation final game. The boys knew what had to be done. A unfortunate slashing penalty 1:21 into the game but a scare into the crowd as on that penalty the boys gave up a power play goal. The atoms had bin in this position before
they battled back hard scoring to in the first to take the lead after some big saves by Squishy Quish the boys ended the period with another goal taking a 3-1 lead into the second. After some very discipline play the vikings manage to score a goal in the second but the boys shut them down the rest of the game and took the first win of the season 3-2. Scoring for the atoms were Alex Paylor, Gibby Gibbings and Ryan Thede. Assists to Brayden "Kaufy" Kaufman, Cory "Cash" Lewis, Kessel Marlowe, and Ribs Ribey. Aiden took the win and the boys headed to the consolation finals against another former opponent Kingston.
In the consolation final the boys just didn't have anymore juice and couldn't handle a well rested Kingston team. After going down by two goals in the first. the boys managed to show some life on a goal by Kaufy Kaufman with the assist going to Blackie Black. Kingston score two more before the final buzzer sounded and the boys took the loss and ended the tournament with a 1-5-0 record. Nail Pfiel took the loss and the boys headed home
