Early Action for Quick Feet in Brantford Tournament
The 2002 Quick Feet boys are off to their first tournament of the spring hockey season.  Friday opponents included Regional West and Regional Gold.

Regional West was first up and this one proved to be an evenly matched game.  Regional West started off the scoring in the first when one of their players broke free from the Quick Feet defensemen and buried a shot in the bottom corner.  The Quick Feet boys fought back quickly, when 40 seconds later the determination of Owen Rahn paid off after he jammed away at a loose puck in front of the net until it finally made its way across the goal line and a tie game.   The play continued back and forth for the remainder of the first with Regional West getting the best scoring chance but the paddle of goaltender Caden Prues robbed them of their opportunity to take the lead. In the second, Quick Feet grabbed the lead when Luke Eurig wristed the rebound of an Owen Rahn shot past the Regional West goalie to make it 2-1.  The score would remain the same through the third as the Quick Feet defense shut Regional West down to open the tournament with a win.  Final score was 2-1 for Quick Feet.  Great effort from all the players!

Next up was Regional Gold. The Quick Feet boys knew they were in tough for this game as this is the elite team of the Regional hockey spring hockey program.  Regional Gold moved the puck very well and despite the hard efforts of the boys, the Quick Feet team came up short losing 10-0.

Good luck on Saturday! First up is Dynamo Harrow.
