Almost made the Hilites package
Friday morning the team was on the ice to face the Express team. After a slow start the team was trailing 5-1 after 2 periods. Cue the come back with a renewed desire the team clawed its way back to make it 5-4 with 3 minutes left in the 3rd period. Even though the 2004 Quickfeet put on relentless pressure they could not score the equalizer. With the goalie pulled for an extra attacker the Express score in the empty net for a 6-4 final.
If the team can bring the same desire to the next game it should be an interesting match tonight at 6.30pm.
