All good things must come to an end
And as such the 2013 edition of the Quick Feet 2004 season has come to an end. The team kept getting better every time they hit the ice and The Blue Thunder tournament was no exception.
The 3rd game of the tournament saw the 2004 take on the Green Gloves. The Quick Feet team was leading in the dying minutes only to surrender the tying goal.
The final game was against the Maitland Ice Sharks who had beat up on the Quick Feet Team at the start of the spring by a score of 11- 1. In this game The Ice sharks jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first 90 seconds of the game. The 2004 regrouped and battled back to narrow the score to 4-3 with 3 minutes left in the game. After missing a couple of good chances to tie the game the Ice Sharks scored 3 late goals to finish the score at 7-3.
The chatter in the lobby after the game was how much the Quick Feet team had improved in such a short period of time.
Congratulations to Players, Coaching Staff and Parents you did the Quick Feet Association proud.
