TALK ABOUT EXCITEMENT
The Quickfeet team is playing in the Stone Town Tournament this weekend. The competition and the excitement is almost more than we can stand. Game one was against the Regional team. With the Quickfeet trailing 1-0 in the second period Riely Keip scored 2 goals one on a beautiful passing play from behind the net and the 2nd on an individual effort.

The rest of the game remained scoreless and it ended with a good 2-1 victory.
You would have thought a 2 goal game would get you the player of the game award. Not in this game, the outstanding player of the game was the goalie Jarret Blue who made several great saves to backstop the team to victory.

A short 1 1/2 hr later saw the team back on the ice to take on the host Dunnys team. The local boys built up a 3-1 lead that saw lots of end to end action. But just like in the NHL playoffs 3-1 leads are not very safe. The Dunnys team kept putting on the pressure and with 1 min 40 seconds left in the game they scored their 2nd consecutive goal to tie the score.
A shoot out followed with each team scoring 1 out of their 1st 3 shooters. This brought the game to a sudden death shootout and Wilson Shipp beat the Dunnys goalie while Ryan Fotheringham stopped the opposition to win the game.
As in the previous game a 3 goal performance by Aiden Hinsperger was not good enough for the player of the game. Everyone agreed the player of the game was goalie Ryan Fotheringham.

Next game 9am.     GO TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!
