"A" SIDE GOLD CHAMPS
It was a successful weekend at the Toronto Memorial Holiday Classic - Hockey Tournament
It has been a short but very fun spring hockey season. Finishing 10-4-1. I feel that every player learned something new from this experience. These players put what they learned in practice to work for them in the games this weekend and they were rewarded. Everyone worked their hardest and put their best effort forth and went underfed beating the Roger Neilsons Rink Rats in the finials to win "A" side GOLD champs. Way to Go !!
These players not only performed well on the ice but behaved and represented themselves very well off the ice at the hotels and other arenas. This was a reflection of the parents that they have. It was a really great group of parents to be involved with. A few drinks together, a bunch of laughs and alot of bubbles in Sarnia lol. To many pizzas to eat and one angry mom because of a ball. I would like to thank the MOMs that took time out of their schedule to look after booking our rooms, keeping track of shots,setting up pot luck suppers. Thank-you. I would also like to thank Jason Will (JAZZ) for looking after the jerseys this spring season. Thank-you.
It was also a pleasure to be part and on the bench with some great coaches. Nick Abell,Josh Farlow,Dave Farley. Thank-you. I would also like to thank the Quick Feet organization and Adam stanley for the opportunity to coach this season. Thank-you. Friendships were made and will continue to grow from my time with you guys this season.
