Congratulations on a great year!
I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of the parents and coaches who made the committment to play with the Quick Feet 2009 team this year. It takes a lot of time and effort on the ice and behind the scenes to lay the groundwork for a successful season.
A big thank you goes out to Ryan Cabral who worked on the bench with our group of forwards and spent many hours planning, scheduling and managing our team. Corey Reay was instrumental in moulding our defensive core into a cohesive unit. Jeff Steven worked on the bench as a trainer, but probably even more importantly as a positive influence and motivator for our young group of kids. Thank you to assistant coach Andy Aitken and goalie coach Cody Van der Heide for their help at practices as well.
It has been a tremendous season for the team with two gold medal championships and a silver finalist medal in our three tournaments. I think the team as a whole showed great improvement over the course of our time together. Even more important are the friendships, bonds and memories created off the ice that will last much longer than our spring hockey season. Congratulations on a great year!
