Headed in the Right Direction
Well, I know we didn't come away with any wins, but with only one "team" practice under our belts our staff thought the kids did well today. On the whole, we liked the work ethic, especially in the second game. We saw a few good breakouts (defense passing to winger on the boards and then a pass up to the centerman), there was some good back checking efforts from various players, and in the second game we started to "go to the net" which resulted in some good offensive chances. Both of our goalies also made some key saves and helped keep us in the game. Good effort boys. Keep working hard!
