Team Continues to Work and Improve
The first 2 games are in the books in the Toronto Cup. The boys played solid as they continue to mould as a team and improve their play.

Their first game had QF pitted against "Extreme Hockey from St. John's Newfoundland.Extreme Scored in the first period to take the lead and potted a second in the 2nd to lead 2-0 after 2. The team fought hard to cut into the 2-0 score when defenceman Darcy Scott scored on a beauty from the blue line to cut the lead in half. Extreme added and empty netter in the last minute to seal the deal. Player of the game was announced and Ryan Fotheringham was awarded the bracelet. The second game was played in the late afternoon vs Toronto's Cutting Edge, a very skilled and fast team. The QF boys did everything they could as Goalie Wes Dedmond stood on his head at times but was unable to stop the onslaught. Cutting Edge was up 6-0 into the third before Jared Rowe scored a highlight, bar down short sider to ruin the shut-out. Rowe was also awarded the bracelet for his efforts throughout the game. Tomorrow, the boys face the Collingwood Blue Thunder and Sub Zero Hockey, (Sudbury). Both games will be played in Oshawa.Keep going boys!!!!!!!
