A Tough Battle
The Atom Quick Feet Girls played their first game against the Stratford Aces on Sunday, May 1st. The girls played extremely well considering many of them are playing different positions for the first time. The QF forwards were able to get the puck to the net but strong defensive play from Stratford, made it difficult to capitalize on second chances. The QF defence, did a great job keeping the play in front of them and only gave up one breakaway during the game. Stratford was relentless at getting pucks to the net and capitalized on many second and third chances. The QF girls will meet up with Stratford again in a few weeks and hope to tighten up their play before the rematch.
