Spring Season Ends on a High Note!
The Atom Quick Feet Girls had a blast during the last tournament of the spring season. They were in tough at the Girls Battle of North York Tournament, but the girls showed that they were willing to play and compete no matter what the competition was like. After the round of pool play, the girls found themselves in a good position for their final game of the year.
They were up against an unknown TPA hockey team from the York region. Their opponents scored first and the girls found themselves trailing after the first period. Not going down without a fight, the girls kicked it into high gear and came out in the second with 4 unanswered goals. With a total team effort, the girls continued to put the puck in the back of the net and shut down any attempt for their opponents to get back into it. The girls finished their spring season with a 7 to 3 victory which made all their challenges this spring a thing of the past. A young, hard working and fun-loving group of girls walked away this past weekend with smiles on their faces and a new batch of hockey friends. A moment made just for them! Congrats Girls!
