Getting Ready for The Showdown
Despite a 7-4 loss to Ice Dog Hockey in exhibition, the team is certainly showing positive signs of being a competitive team this spring.
"The team looked great at times throughout the game" Coach Jeff Said. "I expect the boys to be a bit shaky and disorganized, many of the players are sharing the ice together for the first time with the same jersey on. I fully expect the team to continue to improve as the weekend progresses and throughout the spring".
The team is off to the Toronto Spring Showdown, starting this Friday. All preliminary games will be played in Scarborough on Friday and Saturday.
