Minor Novice 2006, 2014 (Quick Feet Hockey)

As the steady pace of spring transitions to summer, most kids would prefer to ride their bikes, kick a soccer ball, play a game of hide and seek or look forward to weekends at the beach with mom and dad.  One would think that worrying about when they will have the next opportunity to play hockey would be the furthest thing from an 8 year old's mind on a 30 degree day in June.  That is unless, that 8 year old, plays spring hockey for the Minor Novice Quick Feet team.

You may have noticed that there have been a few changes to this weekend's schedule.  A team has dropped out of the tournament by the look of things.  Here are the revised game times/locations:

It was a roller coaster ride of emotions this weekend for players, parents and supporters of the 2006 Minor Novice Quick Feet team, at the Collingwood Blue Thunder Cup. The boys started the tournament with a hard fought 3-2 regulation loss Friday morning, against the efficient Regional Express East squad from Markham/Barrie. 

We have our first three games of the Collingwood Tournament scheduled.  They are: Friday 1) 11:35am Vs. Regional Express East @ Wasaga Beach Arena 2) 4:25pm Vs. Maitland Sharks @ Collingwood Arena Saturday 3) 8:00am Vs. Collingwood Blue Thunder @ Collingwood Arena
