Tryouts are now officially over for the 2006 Minor Novice squad. "Insert a momentary pause, for a brief celebration, here."
First of all, I would like to thank the players that came out this year. It was a very tough selection process. The compete level and abilities of these young hockey players is absolutely amazing. I would also like to thank the rest of the coaching staff who had a major role in the selection process this year.

For those of you who were not selected, remember to keep your heads held high. Even Micheal Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team and he became the greatest player in NBA history. Tim Thomas wasn't given a shot as an NHL goalie until the age of 28 and wasn't a starting goalie until the age of 32. Thomas won the Vezina trophy, Conn Smythe Trophy and Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins in 2011. Keep up your hard work and we want to see you guys at tryouts again next year!
