Quick Feet 4 - London PSE/HDA 4
It was the second game of the day and the boys didn't bring their "A" game by any stretch of the imagination and it showed as the boys were down 2-0 in just 2 and a 1/2 minutes into the game. It was a game that the boys just simply didn't play well.
The boys did mount a come back in the second period after being down 3-0. Leading the way was Mark Aljoe who was sent in on a break away from Nathan Ahrens and buried the puck in lower corner. The second goal was from Kyle Durrer from Sam Bye and Brenden Hinds to make it 3-2. The next goal was from Brenden Gallaher who crashed the net and found the rebound from Thomas Brown and Kyle Durrer. This made it 3-3 going into the third period.
London was again on the mark and drew blood first to go ahead 4-3 early into the third period. It was a battle for Quick Feet the rest of the period to try and get the tying goal but things just weren't bouncing their way until about the 3 minute mark when Brenden Gallaher found the net from Thomas Brown and Sam Bye. London knew they needed a win to advance and a tie would put them out of the tournament and threw everything they had at Quick Feet but fell short with Quick Feet eliminating London from the tournament with the tie.
